Do Not Spit

Rotten Records

www.rottenrecords.com

Reissues are often released with all the sincerity of a crack whore in need of a fix - a label's feeble attempt at milking the few final financial drops from a band. However, when a disc wasn't even released in this country, and it totally kicks ass, I'll make an exception.

Your friends at Rotten Records have seen fit to unleash upon us a polished up and repackaged version of Melbourne, Australia-based Damaged's first two releases, "Do Not Spit" and "Passive Backseat Demon Engines". Self branded as "hate core," this is obviously not music for the masses, but instead, it will gratify those of us with a passion for violent, aggressive style thrashy death metal. Any fan of Slayer or Cannibal Corpse will pee with glee when they experience this 18 track malice metal monster. Also, beware that a new album will be vomited forth sometime in 2002.
