Union South - The Sett:

Description:

Music events programmed at the Memorial Union usually take place in der Rathskeller or the outside Terrace, and are always free. Music events occuring at Union South usually take place at Club 770 and are usually free. WUD Music events are intended for UW faculty, staff, students, Union members and their guests.

MEMORIAL UNION - der Rathskeller
Der Rathskeller is widely recognized as the best place to see live music in the city of Madison. Unless the weather is nice and warm, all concerts at the Memorial Union take place in der Rathskeller. All shows are free, and a wide variety of food and alcoholic beverages are offered in facilities throughout the Memorial Union.

MEMORIAL UNION - Terrace
The Terrace is the Madison’s premier outdoor music venue. Concerts are held on the Terrace when the weather is warm and the skies are clear; this usually lasts from the end of May to the end of September. If weather conditions prevent a concert from taking place outdoors, the show takes place in der Rathskeller. All shows on the Terrace are free, and a wide variety of food an alcoholic beverages are offered in facilities throughout the Memorial Union, including out outdoor beer and brat stands.
