Description:

Open air amphitheater that seats around 40,000 people. Alpine Valley will always be remembered for it’s Grateful Dead concerts and the helicopter crash in 1990 that killed blues legend Stevie Ray Vaughan

Directions:

Coming from Milwaukee, take I43 South to the Bowers Rd., left off exit, pass over freeway, left on County D to Alpine Valley. For you individuals that like to avoid crowds, take I43 to the HWY 120 (Church St.) exit, just before Bowers Rd., left over the freeway and RIGHT on County D and enter Alpine Valley from the non-crowded side… a little more “country” driving but wait till you see the line of cars on the Bowers Road exit!
