Description:
The Young Auditorium at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is a gem in Southern Wisconsin. Nestled on of the Kettle Moraine State Forest’s natural beauty it is a cultural oasis amid nature’s glory. The 1300 seat auditorium is host to world class entertainment with facilities that rival any big city venue. The talent that graces the stage is drawn from the world’s best with a wide variety of events including Broadway touring shows, international dance companies, world-class musicians from classical to country, comedians and theatre companies performing straight drama or family-friendly events.
Young Auditorium has a wonderful permanent art collection on display year round and served dinner prior to several events. Most events offer Sound Bites; a free lecture/discussion prior to the performance held in the Fern Young Terrace on the second floor of the venue, where beverages and delicious desserts are available for purchase. The venue also boasts a gift shop in the main floor lobby with an eclectic assortment of items.
