Venue Description:

Liquid is, simply put, a unique example (outside of major cities on the east and west coasts) of the “next generation” in live music venues. Just as movie theaters are evolving into offering higher end customer experiences – so too are music venues. With our state of the art sound and stage lighting systems, beautiful club-like interior decor and affordable VIP options (that are Madison-priced vs Chicago/New York/LA) — Liquid is a great place to see a show or to celebrate your next special occasion in style!

Over the past few years, Liquid has become nationally recognized as one of the top college town Electronic Dance Music (EDM) venues anywhere in the country. We’ve been proud to present many of the Top 50 DJ’s in the world including Avicii, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, The Chainsmokers (3x), Dillon Francis (3x), Adventure Club (2x), GRiZ (2x), Morgan Page (2x), Slander (2x), 3LAU (2x), Madeon, Snails, NGHTMRE, Thomas Jack, Cash Cash as well as live music acts ranging from EOTO to Waka Flocka Flame.

But many years ago, the building actually housed a hugely famous band-focused live music venue called “Headliners” which became one of the most important midwest venues for bands to perform at as they toured across the country (e.g. U2 played Headliners on their first North American tour). Let’s just say, while we love our EDM roots — we think it’d be pretty fun for history to repeat itself a little bit as we gear up to present an expanded lineup of shows this summer and next school year! So stay tuned
