Their creative recipe remains mostly unchanged from days gone by: aggressive lyrics taunted by various “evils”  backed with anthemia choruses played over stereotypical thrash grooves.

James Eisele - Coming Into A New Age

Sly, cool, and swinging jazz temptations are blown about by the blues guitar backbone this artist is known for. At some points I think I am listening to some forgotten Burl Ives record or something.

Eisbrecher - Sünde

Not all German industrial metal bands sound like Rammstein, but these folks sure do. The unyielding throbbing metal marches form a platform for the foreboding deep German vocals that are barked with a crisp snap.

Epochate - Chronicles Of A Dying Era

More than just a collection of songs, these electronic doom prophets have delivered an evolving cinematic style landscape of bleak synthetic orchestral ministrations. Foreboding vocals are fed into this strained and grainy industrial view of reality while propelled to epic, dynamic and tragic trajectories.

Evil Cowards - Covered in Gas

This quirky dirky mind candy is the musical undertaking of “Electric Six’s” ineffable Tyler Spencer in conjunction with
William Bates from “Fall On Your Sword.” Impetuous and compulsive these 13 beguiling tracks display cantankerous rock with ample swagger, sway and quixotic lyrics.

Electric Six - Kill

Another fun frolic into musical flamboyancy from these Detroit veterans of kitsch-n-roll. Brashly and boldly re-spinning their old disco punk methodology into a wisened vision of musical maturity results in Electric Six kicking ass again and again!

EOTO - Fire The Lazers!

Immediately engulfing the listener in a womb of intensely perplexing otherworldly sounds “Fire The Lazers!” drinks from a dazzling selection of galaxy shaking electronic riffs and drum kit dips. The robust bass spectrum sounds rub and tickle your ears and body with a special nonchalant fervor. Michael Travis and Jason Hann (both String Cheese Incident alumnist’s) have birthed another quirky recorded masterpiece while maintaining their improvisational live performances.

EL-P - WEARALLGOINGTOBURNINHELLMEGAMIXX3

Punchy attitude filled hyper-drive techno, washed with quirky-smirky samples and a lot of industrial type backdrops. Although EL-P is a noted deep wit rapper, this full tilt release is all instrumental.

Eugene Grey - Diversity

Disc 1 shows off the instrumental side of this hard working and award winning Jamaican born guitarist and composer while disc 2 has all the vocal tracks thrown in. I can’t decide which is better. They are both flavorful in their own way, highlighting inflections and nuances of the buoyant horn section and funky subtly flowing rhythms that are based in Afro-pop, reggae, jazz and jam.

Pickpocket Ensemble - Memory

Approaching folk music from an urban acoustic perspective, weaving in time worn subtleties and nuances of world café, while managing to engage the listener fully with a depth and perspective all their own.

Elikeh - Adje! Adje

Groove heavy and politically active Afro-rock spawned from the unlikely country of Togo. Singer, guitarist, composer and founder of Elikeh, Massama Dogo, was born in Togo, but immigrated to Washington, D.C. in 2000. His D.C. based ensemble fuses indigenous Togolese elements with a contemporary flavor in a powerful and memorable manner including noteworthy guitar work and vivacious horns.

Easy Star All Stars - First Light

Contemporary reggae enunciated with a big active sound and a nice variety within the genre. You may remember Easy Star from their highly success Dub Side versions of Sgt Peppers, Dark Side Of The Moon and Ok Computerhead. Here they show off their own compositions with flair, pizzazz, and determination.
