The Glitch Mob - See Without Eyes

This Los Angeles trio of artists, Boreta, edIT, and Ooah have produced seminal elements of the electronic sonic experience since their beginnings in 2006. It has been 4 years since their last acclaimed release (their 2nd LP, Love Death Immortality, debuted #13 on Billboard 200 album chart and No. 1 on iTunes electronic chart). Driven now by their own label, Glass Air, their sound remains recognizable, but with a fair amount of experimental elements among their signature punctual electro synths and swollen bass lines. Showing off several great collaborators, including REZZ, Illenium, and Tula, the release has many facets to explore. I am excited to see them at The Sylvee in Madison, WI on 10/10!

The Greatest Showman was a landmark musical film and the songs it contains are iconic. Ripples of it’s popularity have been shaking the musical universe since it was released. Now you have the chance to hear 13 tracks reimagined by some of today’s top pop artists including Kesha, Kelly Clarkson, Panic! at the Disco, Pentatonix, P!nk, and Willow Sage Hart (P!nk’s daughter). Soleance - Tribute To Galt MacDermot

Grammy Award Winner Galt MacDermot died on Dec 17, 2018, but his music will live forever! Best known for his work on the musical Hair, he produced several #1 hits in the late 60s and has been sampled by numerous groups and producers over the years.. This tribute by the French group Soleance samples choice snippets and turns them into quite on point, catchy, funky,  jazzy electronic infused compositions.

Griz - Ride Waves

Some of the fattest, most exciting beats I have heard in a while! Griz’ 5th studio album is riding BIG! Bigger beats, bigger sounds, and bigger collaborators (Snoop Dog, Wiz Khalifa, Bootsy Collins). While the vibes are high, the grooves are deep and the beats are blasting, Griz covers a lot of other territory too, reflecting his immersion into societal influences, culture amid a pleasant variety of soundscapes and musical approaches. King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - Infest The Rats’ Nest

Imagine you are in a quirky psych-pop band. Then someone turns you on to Slayer, Black Sabbath, Metallica and Motorhead. You decide to write an old school metal album. That’s what seems to have happened to KG&TLW (who are well known for genre hopping tendencies). This album is thrashing and heavy, with gruff metal vocals about environmental impact amid zany Slayer-ish solos. The Gizzard will never be the same. (8)
