Lizzie & her new Pink Luggage....

This issue is dedicated to my good friend Ron Bundy who passed last month. He was a super music fan and a great person. Ron Bundy will be missed at shows, his favorite bar the Up North, and around State Street.
MIR: Max Ink Radio welcomes the Full Mile Beer Company and Kitchen as a new show sponsor starting in February. More than just a brew pub making craft beer in downtown Sun Prairie, Full Mile features a kitchen that pumps out signature dishes as well as sandwiches, wood fired pizza, and snack items.
But it was the music schedule that got me excited for this new LIVE MUSIC VENUE. That’s right, it may be a brewery and a kitchen, but with bands from every genre like No Name String Band, Madtown Mannish Boys, David Hecht and the Who Dat?, Raine Stern, Aaron Williams, Better Yeti, Wurk, and Lackin’ Some Direction, it looks like a Madcity music venue schedule in downtown Sun Prairie. Bands, need I say more?
Max Ink Radio features archives of past shows that you can listen to or download as well as interviews broken out for ease of listening. Tune in and listen at 92.7 FM Madison or 101.7 FM Milwaukee.
If you are in a band, old or new, you can submit mp3’s with show or bio info for on-air consideration to maxinkradio (at) gmail (dot) com. We love brand new material and we play throwbacks as well. Listen to Local Music on Local Radio!
Max Ink Calendar: We have added select Milwaukee clubs back into the calendar to keep you better in the loop of what acts are coming to the beer city.
Adventures with Lizzie and Nikko: School is back HOORAY! I’m sure neither Nikko nor Lizzie are cheering. But hey, back to school in January means spring break is around the corner. So Lizzie is either studying or looking for the best flight deal so she can use that new pink luggage!
