Wiz Khalifa

Washed in champagne and sensimillia bravado, smooth-talking rapper, pop upstart and lifestyle compiler, Wiz Khalifa slings off-putting epithets, suave posse politics and pussyfooting bragging rights glamorizing a cushy life of sleeping in and going out.  As a son of two military parents Wiz is no stranger to discipline or duty but his allegiance to his fan base, the Taylor Gang, and his, success is the best revenge, work ethic are a far cry from dawn patrols and reveille. Rapping since the third grade, the Pittsburgh MC started recording music at fourteen. Fresh out of high school, Wiz pitched his about face, straight-shooting, “Prince of the City: Welcome to Pistolvania,” and immediately garnered attention from the major labels.  Climbing on board the famed “Rock The Bells” tour alongside legends Lauryn Hill and Snoop Dogg, Wiz began receiving A-list co-signs from rap veterans Rick Ross and Diddy, humbly rejecting an offer to join Drake’s tour, enlisting over one million Facebook friends and over five-hundred thousand followers on Twitter. Packed with swift, roller rink synths and backed by a platoon of producers laying rasta-fueled grooves, “Rolling Papers,” came out at two on Billboard’s “Top 200 Albums” chart, spinning three singles that went to the top fifty of Billboard’s “Hot 100 Singles” chart with, “Black And Yellow,” hitting number one with nearly three million downloads. A relentless road warrior, Wiz took a short break from his sold-out “Campus Consciousness Green Carpet Tour,” where his merch-packed Puff Bus was a big hit, before rebooting and refueling to kick off a forty-city summer tour this June starting at Tennessee’s Bonnaroo. Wisconsin can catch Wiz at the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse stage July 5th.
