If I had any doubts about the resiliency of STS9, the sold out show at the Orpheum Theater in Madison, WI on 10/23 removed them. Their musical evolution has spun them to ever dizzying heights of entertainment and enjoyment. Their smooth flowing compositions and brilliant light show was such a sensory orgasm that I felt like I was on another planet for most of their 2 wonderful sets. Yup, still one of my all time favorite bands. Can’t wait to see them again! sts9.com

Consistently selling out tours across the US and beyond, the vibrant electronic duo known as Odeza (Harrison Mills (aka CatacombKid) and Clayton Knight (aka BeachesBeaches)) coalesce a blend of deep house, glitch-hop, downtempo, and multi-layered melodies with a certain cinematic charm into their top selling releases. Their last full length, In Return, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Electronic chart and # 1 on the iTunes Electronic Chart while scoring high in many, many other charts. Simply put, they are poised to become one of electronic music’s biggest breakout stories of 2014/2015 and then some. You can find out what all the hype is about on 11/22 at the Orpheum Theatre in Madison, WI. Also appearing Jai Wolf. odesza.com

Cas Haley - More Music, More Family
Album title: More Music, More Family
Record Label: Mailboat Records
After a freak skiing accident tossed Haley into months of physical and vocal therapy, he was forced to reassess and refocus his career and this process brought new levels of connection with his family which had grown thin after years of constant touring. His new release shows off this family respect topically while allowing arrangements to grow more extravagant and expansive through his smooth mating of reggae, soul, blues and rock. Bravo! (9) Appearing on 11/8 at High Noon Saloon in Madison, WI along with Collin Hauser,Tugg and Cash Box Kings.

Wildlight - The Tide
Album title: The Tide

Few releases have the magic that is found within the delicate interplay between the combined efforts of Ayla Nereo and David Sugalski (The Polish Ambassador). You will find your mind dancing effortlessly on the dreamy floating folky vocals of Nereo while Sugalski pushes polished downtempo beats into your consciousness. Simple yet breathtaking.
